Tutor Terms & Conditions

Rules and expectations for tutors working with JIT Home Tuition.

Effective date: January 29, 2026. These Tutor Terms apply to all tutors who register and operate on JIT Home Tuition.

1) Eligibility & Verification

  • You must provide accurate personal information, qualifications, and documents (CV and certificates).
  • JIT may verify submitted documents and may request additional proof or interview before approval.
  • Providing false information may lead to rejection, suspension, or termination.

2) Account Approval & Access

  • Registration creates an account with status Pending.
  • Only Approved tutors may access tutor dashboard features such as job applications.
  • JIT may approve, reject, suspend, or terminate accounts where necessary.

3) Professional Conduct

  • Be punctual, respectful, and professional with parents and students.
  • Follow the agreed schedule and notify early if rescheduling is needed.
  • No harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior of any kind.
  • Protect student privacy and never share student details publicly.

4) Teaching Standards

  • Deliver lessons aligned to the student’s curriculum and goals.
  • Provide clear learning plans, exercises, and feedback.
  • Avoid plagiarism and maintain academic integrity.

5) Payments & Fees

  • Payment structures and tutor compensation may vary by country, program, and client agreements.
  • JIT reserves the right to manage client pricing and communication regarding pricing.
  • Tutors must not demand unauthorized fees from parents or students.

6) Communication & Data Use

  • You agree to be contacted through phone/WhatsApp/email for job matching and scheduling.
  • JIT may store and process your data as described in the Tutor Privacy Policy.

7) Intellectual Property

  • Tutors retain ownership of original materials they create unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Materials shared by JIT (notes, papers, templates) must not be redistributed without permission.

8) Termination

  • JIT may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, misconduct, or repeated complaints.
  • You may request account closure at any time by contacting JIT support.

9) Disclaimer

JIT provides a platform for connecting tutors with learners. While we support quality assurance, learning outcomes vary and depend on many factors, including student effort and attendance.
